IMAS Video Wall

Contact Group’s specialist Audio Visual team have just completed an impressive video wall installation at Hobart’s Institute for Marine & Antarctic Studies.

We were contracted to replace an outdated dual projection presentation system in the main lecture theatre with a state-of-the-art NEC LED video wall.

The audio system was also upgraded to include the latest Shure ceiling tile technology, which allows pickup throughout the entire room.

The video wall is complimented by four Yealink 4K cameras, two at the front of the room and two at the back, which can capture audience participation and track multiple people with cuts rather than pans.

Video wall technology is becoming increasingly popular in educational and research facilities, allowing for a far more interactive learning experience.

Well done to our AV team, led by Michael, James and Mark and our Hobart based technicians who assisted with the installation, including Bill, Josh and Izac.

This is just one of many video wall installations that they’ve completed recently, with our clients always impressed at our expertise and eye for detail.

Other clients include: UTAS, the Australian Antarctic Division and the Department of Health.

Ben from IMAS passed on this feedback to the team:

“Just wanted to thank Contact for the recent work at IMAS and Social Sciences, as always, the quality of work performed by James and his team is above expectation.”

Well done to everyone involved.
