The night of Saturday 23rd of August 2014 saw electrical contractors from all around the state of Tasmania meet at the Grand Chancellor Hotel in Hobart where the 2014 NECA awards ceremony took place.
Nathan Edwards from our Launceston Branch took out the prestigious Apprentice of the Year award. Nathan is one of our mature aged apprentice and actually came to us as a qualified fitter and turner. He has won many awards through TAFE for his outstanding academic results throughout his apprenticeship.
Nathan will now progress to the National awards competition level where he will complete against other state winners from all over Australia. Best of luck Nathan from the Contact Team!
Contact Group had entries in the "Large Commercial Project" division and also had multiple entries in the 2014 "Apprentice of the Year" category.
