From 1 January 2015 wireless microphones and portable public address systems with built in wireless microphones operating on frequencies between 694 – 820MHz will be illegal to use. These frequencies will be re-assigned and wireless systems in this range must cease operation. Only systems that operate between 520MHz and 694MHZ will be allowable.
