2022 is off to a great start for Contact Group with the company securing several major mechanical services contracts across the state.
This involves the removal and replacement of 12 air handling units in the rooftop plantroom which service five operating theatres, the northern kitchen and the general areas, as well as removal and replacement of five air handling units in the basement plantroom.
This contract will require three to four full-time staff to be onsite for the next six months.
Contact Group has also been awarded the RHH Level 4 – A Block Endoscope – Medical Gases contract worth $392, 000.
This contract involves the supply and installation of new medical gas pipework, as well as the supply and installation of new medical gas isolation valve boxes, alarm panels, tool air control panels and CO2 flow regulators.
These RHH contracts reflect the high standard of work Contact Group’s become renowned for, with the company having maintained several mechanical contracts at the hospital over the last decade.
In addition to these contracts, Contact Group is pleased to announce it has also secured the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) Mechanical Maintenance Contract for the North and North West of the state.
This three-year contract is worth $180, 000 and began this month.
Contact Group’s Mechanical Services Division has been providing mechanical systems maintenance services throughout Tasmania since the 1960’s.
Collectively our team is amongst the state’s most experienced mechanical services personnel.
This high level of experience extends from our site trade staff right through to our senior management team.
Last year Contact Group further diversified into the HVAC field with its purchase of Masters Contracting, and the acquisition of more highly experienced mechanical services staff.
These staff specialise in HVAC systems, fume cupboard systems, mechanical gas systems and testing, LPG systems, refrigerated cool and freezer rooms, vacuum systems, oxy and acetylene reticulation systems, electrical, pneumatic and energy management control systems, balancing & commissioning, fume cupboard testing and compliance reporting, and generator and UPS maintenance.
