The Contact Group had great success at the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) Tasmania Awards held on Saturday the 5th of August. Over 200 people attended the annual event, held at Hobart’s Hotel Grand Chancellor, including industry representatives, contractors, suppliers and government representatives. It was a great chance to showcase the Contact Group’s work, with the company taking out two awards; best Lighting Project and best Voice/Data Communications and Audio Visual Project.
Last week the Contact Group received major recognition from one of its most valued clients - the Federal Group. Contact's Company Directors, Bill and Trish Fromberg, along with Launceston Manager, Rob Young, were presented with the Services Supplier of the Year Award for 2016, at the Federal Group's annual awards night at the Country Club Casino.
The Contact Group is the first company in Tasmania to receive the highly sought after Verdia accreditation, enabling its customers to access unprecedented finance for energy efficient projects.
The Contact Group held two successful industry nights in the north and south of the state, earlier this month. About 100 people turned out to hear about the latest energy efficient technologies in lighting, and advances in the data and communications sector.
