We are committed to providing meaningful, safe, and practical placements that give students real-world exposure to the electrical, HVAC-R and building services industries. Work experience with us is designed to build confidence, enhance technical knowledge, and inspire career pathways.

How to Apply

To request a work experience placement, please email us at:

Include the following information in your email:

  • Full name of the student
  • School or educational provider
  • Preferred dates of placement
  • Area of interest (e.g. electrical, HVAC-R, admin, etc.)
  • Contact phone number
  • Preferred location (Burnie, Launceston, Hobart)
  • Copy of White Card (if applicable)
  • Certificate of Currency (from school or business)
  • Any specific placement requirements

  • A structured induction and safety briefing
  • Supportive supervision by qualified professionals
  • A safe and inclusive workplace
  • Real-world experience in a trade, technical, or support role
  • Completion certificate at the end of your placement

All of our technicians are professionally trained and hold a current Working with Vulnerable People card.

Placement Requirements

Before starting your placement, you will need to:

  • Complete our company induction (we’ll send this to you)
  • Return a signed employee details form (Page 1 only)
  • Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) — safety glasses, hearing protection, high-vis shirt or vest, gloves, and a hard hat

Once we receive your request, we will:

  • Confirm availability and suitability of placement
  • Contact your school or business to verify insurance and placement conditions
  • Email you full details, including start date, location, and what to bring
