Contact Group was extremely humbled to be recognised at the 2024 National NECA Excellence Awards in Melbourne in December.
Over 350 people from the electrical industry attended the Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievements and the best projects across Australia.
Contact Group was honoured to win the National Leaders in Diversity Award in recognition of our supportive & inclusive workplace environment and advocacy for women in trades.
And in an incredible finish to her training, Contact Group’s Chey Sullivan was named National Commercial/Domestic Apprentice of the Year.
Contact Group’s Managing Director Wade Fromberg said it was wonderful recognition for Chey who had overcome a range challenges to enter the industry.
“We couldn’t be prouder of Chey’s achievements. She’s a terrific role model and advocate for women in electro-tech and is such a deserving winner,” he said.
The Awards follow Contact Group’s recent success at the Employer of Choice Awards held at Glen Albyn Estate in Hobart in November.
