What We Do
Maintenance work through our maintenance division is now the largest area of our business’ services. We have over the years been strategically recruiting specialist employees and now employ a host of highly experienced maintenance personnel — from senior managers to skilled supervisors and highly capable and specialised service technicians across multiple divisions.
Commercial and industrial electrical/communication work is another core business area. We have vast experience in supply, design, installation, and commissioning of commercial projects. Our capabilities range from our skilled tradespeople in the field right through to our draftspeople proficient in CAD drawing, design, and alterations. We also have qualified electrical engineers on staff, which allows us to be fully independent in all areas of lighting and power design and installation.
Our highly skilled Industrial team provides expertise in both large and small industrial electrical projects, including high voltage design, installation, and maintenance. Contact Group has TasNetworks AED (Accredited Electrical Designers) and AEC (Accredited Electrical Constructor) accreditation, which allows us to design and install power and communications for new underground subdivisions.
We also hold a fire detection installation and maintenance permit and are members of the Fire Protection Authority of Australia (FPAA). We employ a fire protection building practitioner, which means we are qualified under the Fire Protection Authority to design and certify fire protection systems.
